KARAN ACOUSTICS AT THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN AUDIOFEST 2009 IN DENVER (USA) The North American high-end audio market remains to be one of the most influential (if not the most influential) playgrounds in the world. Consequently, and for the very first time, we have chosen to present Karan Acoustics products to the serious audiophiles in the United States and Canada at the 6th Rocky Mountain Audiofest in Denver (Colorado) during the weekend of the 2nd-4th October. RMAF has an enviable reputation of the most important consumer audio event in the United States and, over the past few years, has been growing into a full-scale, well organised and excellent event of its kind. We had a generous support and help of Cardas Audio who Karan Acoustics shared their exhibition space with (and whose Clear and Clear Beyond cable we used).Also, Zanden Audio Systems (Model 2500S CD player), Avalon Acoustics (Indra loudspeakers) and finite elemente through their US distributor Immedia (pagode E12 Signature equipment support) supported our presence with their products needed for a highly musical sounding system. Together with our North American Karan Acoustics distributor, Westside Music and Cinema from Calgary in Canada (www.westsidemusic.ca), very nice and highly acclaimed sounds were achieved using the KA L Mk2 line preamplifier and the KA S 180 power amplifier. In addition to many visitors, a significant number of audio journalists and dealers gave complimentary remarks about the sound of our amplification as well as the system in general. If comments on various magazine and audio forum web sites are anything to go by, we were noticed and left some positive impressions for, hopefully, another visit in 2010. |
